Both look quite good, especially the decorations on the sword yet the ribbon and feather at the handle could’ve used some fine tuning. He also comes with the Ceremonial Sword and its sheath. Both sculpting and paint look great, the cover looks just worn enough and the pages aren’t only filled but sculpted at the sides as well (with the bookmarks even).Ĭontrary to my fears the book also stays in his hands rather well, I was a bit worried about it since there are no pegs or anything, but once you find the right angle it fits really well.
Tales of zestiria sorey best sword full#
The only thing that really annoyed me was the wire that kept the sword in (I had already removed it before taking the picture though)Īs you’d expect Alter included an instruction sheet for Sorey and while it’s in Japanese the pictures are plenty helpful (but also show something I really don’t like, but we’ll get to that).īefore we can have at him in his full glory, there are some parts to look at. The blister is standard fare and while it might look like the box with the almost cube-like look is a bit excessive, it’s actually necessary. Other than the sides and bottom all parts of the box are see-through, allowing a good look at the figure. As usual the box comes with a cardboard inlay showing pictures of the figure on a background that continues the ornamental decoration. The plastic itself is adorned with a mixture of ornaments fitting the source material, but it’s the stylized grass at the sides that I like best. Yet I’m not averse to them, in fact I quite like them. I honestly didn’t expect him to arrive in one of Alter’s plastic boxes, both because my other Tales of scales didn’t and because it’s obvious that it’d have to be a bigger one. Without going into too much detail about any of those I’d like to proceed with the review (I really don’t want to spoil anything here ♥). Anyway, Sorey is one of the main characters from the Tales of Zestiria game as well as a 2-cour anime adaption. I also got the matching Mikleo ITEM #582274 and II’ll hopefully be able to review him soon~ish as well. This will be a picture-heavy review as usual 。(>ω<。)įor today’s review I picked ITEM #582273 Alter’s rendition of Sorey from Tales of Zestiria (the X).
